Winter Wonderland

Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland . . .

fullsizeoutput_10db.jpeg

   This is a very snowy post with very few words . . . strange for me, I know. This December, Brad, Buffy & I ventured up to Mt Hood for no other reason than to play in the snow - and these are the pictures from that day. Looking around, and looking back through these photos, there's only one sentiment I wish to express - Gratitude.

   Gratitude for my husband;

Gratitude for my pup;

Gratitude for the reprieve of winter;

& gratitude for this beautiful world we share & have the opportunity to explore,

especially in the waxing and waning of these newfound seasons.

LOVE

This is the first true winter I have yet to experience, and with surroundings like this it seems to surpass all the rest.

   Maybe it's the love of our little family; maybe it's the beauty of our new life & home; maybe it's the MASS AMOUNT OF SNOW we can play in anytime we want and then retreat from back into the city whenever we wish; whatever it is - I feel nothing but thankful. Because just when I think it can't get any better, it does. And the joy that brings me overflows each and every moment and beams like a light into the next.

And the next, and the next . . .

HAPPINESS

And that's really all I wish to say! Ending the year on a very positive note and just basking in the beauty of our surroundings. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas, a letting this serve as a reminder - to myself, and anyone reading this - to DREAM BIG & dream bold. Because you never know where your dreams will take you . . .

See you next year!
